The area once known as Russian Turkestan has a rich heritage of beautiful textiles, especially printed cottons in bright colors and intricate patterns. These fabrics were designed in the mid 1800’s, melding Russian, Central Asian and Western aesthetic styles and became famous throughout the bazaars of Central Asia.
Inspired by these wonderful patterns, Silk Road Luminaries now add the element of candlelight to these amazing designs. Each luminary includes a metal hanger that will fit a glass votive or tealight. Measures 4 ¼” x 7 ¾”.
